Led design and research for Twilio Messaging’s engagement products. Partnered with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to identify, plan, and execute end-to-end design solutions.

  • Spearheaded UX research projects to develop personas and customer journey maps for Messaging Engagement users. Created assets including research roadmap, research plans, surveys, interview scripts, and user outreach communications.

  • Collaborated across the UX organization to develop new open-source design system components and patterns.

  • Facilitated design workshops, discussions, and critiques to improve the UX team’s workflows, processes, and craft impacting 150+ UX team members.

  • Scaled and improved the UX team’s onboarding program with managers and directors. Organized an onboarding cohort and buddy system to promote an inclusive working environment.

  • Pioneered an end-to-end experience to help enterprise companies, startups, and non-profits make sense of their communications data, resulting in 2.5M+ streaming events within six months of public beta launch.

Founding Designer for emerging technology products from conception to launch including Event Streams and SendGrid Marketing Campaigns Ads. Designed minimal loveable experiences for private beta, public beta, and general availability launches.

  • Built a job shadowing program for a software engineer with an interest in UX design by creating opportunities to observe the entire UX design and research process including design thinking exercises to gain role clarity.

  • Trained 1,000+ Twilio employees globally in the best practices to conduct UX research interviews and usability tests. Championed a new standard of product development and craft across Twilio.

  • Partnered cross-functionally with product management to resolve for understaffed UX design and research resources by negotiating a new resource allocation strategy while maintaining momentum on business’s top priorities.
