About

Projects
Design lead for developer software.
Led design and prototyping for a new 3D/AR product.
Worked as design lead for Facebook's Reactions product. We had a lot of fun theming Reactions for holidays, and going deep on the experience details— considering visual design, display componentry, motion, sound, and haptics.
As part of the new Facebook identity project, we shipped a new visual design, featuring a new, vibrant color system, improved shape geometry, a gender neutral (and more inclusive) thumbs up, and a less “mocking” Haha expression.
I collaborated with a large team to launch the Appreciation product, which is a system for monetary gifting to content creators.
I was the iconography design lead, but also collaborated on design strategy, experience, color, and guidelines.
User Signals are interface elements (icons, badges, labels) that communicate important context within communities.
I led a holistic user experience audit, collaborated on framework design, and led visual system development for this expansive product system.
I designed a UI kit for in-app data visualization. The kit includes a range of chart types, color logic, and usage guidelines.
Led a research-driven project to redesign the navigation and information architecture for Google Store, with the need to accomodate expanded product offerings, the launch of services, and the inclusion of editorial content.
Design language and UX for in-car, AI-enabled driving features. Used in research vehicles and on display at the 2020 Toyko Olympics.
Collaborated on the design of the Nest Interactive Design system. Evolved the visual language, crafted a new color palette (including a new Nest blue), developed iconography, and architected a new responsive layout and spacing system.
