About
I'm a self-taught product designer based in Atlanta. Designing tools, systems, and services for everyday folks.
Previously at Twitter, I was focused on the core experience. I worked on all things tweets, composer, media, defining new features.
Before Twitter I spent the previous decade working on marketing and product design systems for Mailchimp; design systems, payments and checkout for The Home Depot; and all kinds of stuff for agencies, start ups, and freelance gigs.
Work Experience
As part of the Home & Tweets team, I was focused on the core experience of Twitter. I work on all things composer, tweets, media, defining new features, and improving usability.
My responsibilities at Mailchimp included leading the creation of marketing design systems, as well as maintaining and growing product design systems. Working with cross-functional teams to review contributions, provide support, and create tools and resources that enable teams to work more efficiently, cohesively, and increase ease-of-use for the customer.
I was responsible for leading the design systems and design operations efforts for the Enterprise UX team. Working with front-end engineers to design and build a component library, UI Kit, and doc site to house all the guidance.
In addition, I was also responsible for managing our tooling, creating templates, and defining workflows to help support the UX teams day-to-day work.
I was responsible for leading the formation of a style guide that helped create more cohesion across TST product offerings. I worked with product owners and front-end engineers to create better responsive behavior, apply styling consistently, and create more accessible experiences.
