About
Hi, I’m Matthew.
I am a graduate student currently in the Digital Futures Master of Design program at the Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD) University.
I am an interdisciplinary designer and maker with a practice that bridges digital and physical fabrication, game design, physical computing, generative AI, and natural language processing.
My current research revolves around the creative applications of generative AI. I’m exploring how AI can be integrated into story-based games to create unique player experiences, while also looking at the viability of AI as a tool for designing engaging and adaptive narratives in games.
I originally come from a Life Sciences background, with a specific focus in the interdisciplinary sciences and this has also influenced my path toward a career in interaction and system design.
Passionate about science, music, technology, design, learning and creating.
Intrigued by art, history, languages, food, philosophy, compelling stories and even better storytelling.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical with a desire to explore, create and collaborate. Seeking to be inspired, challenged and surrounded by those who bring out the best in me.

Resulted in a more accessible, user-friendly, and functional experience for both students and staff; team recognized with the Advancing Team Excellence Award by the university president.
Assisted in developing a comprehensive data governance and data privacy policy to enhance data security and compliance across the institution.
Conducted, filmed and edited short spotlight and longer podcast-style interviews at Collision Conference and Brampton Venture Expo.
Redesigned and reworked the entrepreneurial services section of the company website; created personas, user-journey maps and high fidelity prototypes ready for developer handoff.
Co-wrote a startup founder spotlight that was published in Forbes.
As part of businesses development initiatives, I conducted market research to identify new clients, performed data analysis to qualify and prioritize leads for sales and marketing outreach.
