Work Experience

2024 — Now

A SaaS product to turn Figma designs into API endpoints.

This was inspired by the observation that teams wanting to build dynamic images had to write code to do so. Given the result being a bitmap graphic it felt like we could create something better.

2019 — 2024
Remote

As one of the first engineering hires at Gatheround I was responsible for building large parts of the product from seed to Series A.

  • core real-time meeting experience

  • architecting our rebrand & establishing the design system

  • high fidelity marketing pages

  • brand appropriate, whimsy interactions

  • full-stack performance and overall reliability

I was also lucky to work with some amazing designers to bring the Gatheround brand to life and into the product.

2014 — 2019
Remote

During my time working as a consultant I've worked on a multitude of projects, often helping founders bringing their initial product to market.

  • Multiple web-based applications

  • Backend for Mobile-ads platform

  • Communication tool for teams

  • Web-scraping solutions

  • iOS AR/ML development

Eventually I missed working in a team and having peers to learn from so I made the transition to a more full-time role at Gatheround.

Side Projects

2019

A documentation site for libraries in the Clojure/Script ecosystem. I conceived the project and built a large part of it's initial functionality.

  • cljdoc received funding from ClojuristsTogether

  • I presented cljdoc at a few conferences around the world

Speaking

2019
Toronto, Canada

One of talks I did to introduce cljdoc to the Clojure community. Similar versions of this talk were given at In/Clojure in India & ClojuTRE in Finland.

Volunteering

2019 — 2019
Leuven, Belgium

We organized a community conference in Belgium. It was a truly rewarding experience to see the community come together and embrace our take on what a conference could be like.

2014 — 2017
Organizer at Clojure Berlin
Berlin, Germany

I organized the local Clojure meetup for several years and participated in various community-led projects throughout this time. From programming workshops for underrepresented groups to conference organizing and programming...

The Clojure community will aways have a special place in my heart.
