Hello! I am Martijn Otter, a product thinker and designer. I solve difficult problems, make businesses grow, advise companies on their digital product strategies and help students with their business ideas.
In the past 10 years I have worked for small businesses building their first product as well as big billion dollar earning giants.
Projects
Creating new features and improving current flaws for smart mobility.
Worked on the redesign of products used by restaurant owners to handle incoming orders. Over 15 million orders (€350 million+ GMV) per month.
Created the design system for our restaurant teams and designers to use.
Fully redesigned the entire Homey app as sole designer resulting in €150.000 of revenue within 24 hours.
A mobile app to help people who are in debt. Fully designed the product from scratch. The app was featured on national television and in news papers.

I fully redesigned the Moneybird SaaS product.

I was invited to do a talk about product design for Just Eat Takeaway at the University of Twente.
I was invited to give a 90 minute lecture about design for Communication Science students.

Volunteering
I have designed multiple apps for charity. I believe design can make the world a bit better, designing for charity even better.
I like to teach design and inspire people. I work together with schools and universities to teach students about design and make younger children excited about technology, development and design.
