London, UK

I lead the Product Design, UX Research and Design Operations disciplines at Onfido.

Onfido is the new identity standard for the internet. Our AI-based technology assesses whether a user’s government-issued ID is genuine or fraudulent, and then compares it against their facial biometrics.

Led the design for a suite of enterprise products supporting recruiting at Facebook. Our team leveraged large-scale data sets, machine learning and advanced systems design to create high-velocity and high-performing teams. Recruiting products enabled over 25,000 hires in three years.

San Francisco, California, USA

I led the design strategy and execution for Xero's US design team building their payroll and expense management products.

Xero is beautiful accounting software that gives small businesses and their advisors real-time access to accounting information anytime, from anywhere. Our universe revolves around our customers and our simple mission to make their businesses more productive.

2006 — 2013
San Francisco, California, USA

I wore many hats at Wells Fargo, but most notably, I was a design manager for our Online Banking platform and a principal strategist for the Customer Experience team. I was particularly focused on innovations that would drive improvements to Wells Fargo's design methods or practices that would optimize existing products and services. During my tenure there, I led the design team through the largest merger in banking history, bringing Wachovia's 9 million retail households to the Wells Fargo network.

1996 — 2006
Engineer, Information Architect and Designer at iXL, AKQA, eBay, Accenture, Virgin
San Francisco, California, USA

I started my career as a front-end developer building the first generation of travel, entertainment and e-commerce sites. I transitioned into information architecture and then product design, continuing to work for various clients as a consultant.
