Work Experience
After spending many years at Roku, I felt the need to take a break, spend time with my family and friends, travel, tackle home improvement projects, and of course, log miles on my bikes.
Now I’m energized and recharged to seek the next opportunity!
Supported UX initiatives for The Roku Channel. Contributions include design, aided user research, refinement of prototypes, and final implementation; across multiple platforms. Notable projects include launching premium subscription services with tier 1 partners like Showtime, AMC, and BET.
I leveraged my years of experience designing for audio/visual to assist in re-imagining high-end home audio & video. Contributions range from; preparing prototypes to share with critical investors and refining shippable products to designing for retail and shipping packaging.
Founding member of Roku’s tight-knit UX team
and a cornerstone of its culture, growth, and success. Collaborating with engineers, program managers, and tier 1 partners like; Hulu, PBS, Disney, and ESPN, to deliver premium content for the Roku platform. Designed over 50 apps and refined tools and processes ranging from research, definition, conceptualization, and final production. Applying design experience and 10-foot TV best practices to creating Roku’s next-gen SDK.
