Education
The final dissertation applies participatory design methodology to developing a lamp for hospitalised children, aiming to ease their pain during hospitalisation. The lamp is meant to be personalised and adapted by the child to the space where she is confined. Using and manipulating light, the child can characterise the reality she is experiencing in the hospital and assign feelings, sensations, and meanings to that reality.
