I’m a product designer with 5 years of experience in B2C/B2B SaaS. I focus on UX/UI, design processes that scale, and driving a strong design vision.
I'm currently a product designer at Videri. Previously, I was designing and managing projects at Venngage — working on their onboarding, editor and team experiences.
Prior to pivoting into design, I graduated with a BSc in microbiology and behavioural neuroscience and worked as a researcher.
When I'm not designing, you'll catch me painting, making pottery, jamming on my ukulele, and scouting out the coolest coffee shops and hidden gems in town.
Work Experience
Videri provides digital displays that connect through the cloud to the Videri portal enabling many of the world's top brands to deploy and manage content remotely enabling them to visually engage with customers, employees and partners providing the perfect content at the perfect time.
• Leading the redesign of the end-user platform experience for top brands to seamlessly manage their content, create complex playlists across different geographical locations and schedule it to thousands of digital displays globally.
• Led the platform team, identified the highest impact work, prioritized and delivered features and improvements in a measurable way
• Led efforts to scale user acquisition by rebranding the company across all static pages
• Led the design of workspaces - changing how larger teams share and collaborate in Venngage
• Oversaw projects throughout the end-to-end design process, from discovery and shaping to building and shipping
• Conducted user research to inform product decisions, including user interviews, quantitative data analysis and usability studies
• Led the Editor Squad which shipped features including improvements to the text widgets, icon/photo replacement, alignment improvements, design export options and the MVP smart widgets
• Defined and executed on the MVP version of smart widgets which provided the foundation of our smart platform
• Owned the first time user experience from onboarding through to template recommendations; ran experiments that increased onboarding completion and creation from recommended templates
Partnership with Red Academy.
Designed the teacher flow in the SiMBi peer-to-peer reading app - Improved how teachers can track student progress, as well as customize and assign books based on student reading levels.

As a research assistant, I did qualitative user-research and quantitative analysis on how people’s experiences are shaped when in solitude. I did data coding and analysis in SPSS And Excel and consolidated the findings for the PhD candidate.

The session was designed for paraplanners and financial advisors who create long and dry documents that are data heavy and hard to digest.
I delved into some best practices for report design - covered how to balance text with visuals, choosing colours, fonts, text hierarchy, branding, report layouts and how to visualize complex data.

Volunteering
Introduced indigenous high school students to the Science program at UBC by building a positive camp environment and running sessions where fellow students and I shared our university experiences.
Volunteered at the Vancouver General Hospitals Senior's Center - Helped residents with their physical and cognitive abilities by providing personal care and opportunities for socialization such as through games and different activities.
