Improving customer engagement at T.EF Digital (Volunteer)

T.EF Digital—an award plaque production company based in Delta State, Nigeria—has struggled with expanding its customer base over the last 30 years. According to the business owner, the business has relied solely on family and friends for referrals which results in a limited annual revenue.

In collaboration with a digital marketing expert, we developed a solution that resulted in a 3% increase in customer engagement over 2.5 months. I led the entire design process—from user research to designing the solution.

2022

Kusnap is a B2C e-commerce web platform for the Nigerian market. Since its first launch in 2020, it has struggled with low customer retention rates.

In collaboration with the ProDevs' product team, we developed a mobile app focused on improving communication between buyers and sellers and creating a secure and transparent payment system allowing both parties to engage in business without the fear of being defrauded.

We successfully increased retention rates by 8% and gained over 10k downloads with a 3.7-star rating on Google PlayStore.

Product Designer at Rapid Capsules

Contributed to the development of the MVP of an AI-powered symptom assessment that gained five-figure funding from Salford Business School.

Lagos, Nigeria (Remote)

Led the design of 3 projects within 6 months that I worked with the team.

Projects include:

  1. A real-estate data management SaaS web application

  2. A B2B e-commerce mobile application.

In addition, I supported engineers and collaborated with product managers to ensure each product met the client's expectations.

2021 — 2022
Houston, Texas, United States

Applying evaluative UX research methods, I helped steer the design of an HMO SaaS product in a direction that supported user needs within the problem space.

Though the project was cut short for internal reasons, my contributions exposed the client to the importance of evaluating product ideas based on user needs before engaging in development.

2021 — 2021

Led the entire design process for a P2P car rental mobile application that gained over 300 downloads within two months and recorded a 75% sign-up rate.

Provided support for engineers during development to ensure all expectations were met.

Evaluated the product's usability and improved the user experience of a ride-sharing mobile application (OneWay).

Worked closely with engineers to ensure the product was built to specifications.
