Work Experience
Instagram Business Opportunities Design Team; lead designer for Instagram boost, a lightweight ads product (boost) that enabled small businesses to grow on Instagram by turning their organic content into an ad. This product accounted for ~10% of all Instagram revenue.
Established product design principles to transition the team from a growth team to a mature product guide team with a high craft bar, while navigating industry challenges such as implementing Apple’s in-app payment system.
Business Design Systems; product designer on Business Design Systems, a team that supported over 200 mobile and web product teams across the Ads and Business Organization.
Owned complex, highly collaborative design system spaces including Data Table, Data Visualization, and Navigation systems. This work ensured cohesive, scalable design solutions across an ever-evolving ecosystem.
GE Aviation Digital, UX designer and design strategist for the GE Aviation Services team and FlightPulse app.
Ran design workshops and created high-fidelity prototypes that helped clients customize their out-of-the-box data products to fit their unique use cases. Also worked closely with Qantas Airlines to improve GE Aviation’s FlightPulse App, which empowered pilots to make better decisions through data.
Speaking
Hosted and organized a 2 hour lecture and hands-on workshop about typography and graphic design in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Collaborated with local businesses AZAHAR Yoga and Bong Bonlai in order to organize and publicize this event.
