Work Experience

2021 — 2023
Product Designer at Shell
Rotterdam, The Netherlands

As Shell is a very large corporation, they have multiple product teams building internal products. My team builds products for traders in Shell. Together with designers from other teams we're also creating the Shell Design System.

2022 — 2023
Rotterdam, The Netherlands

As Somnox has launched a new version of their sleeping robot, they approached me to start exploring new functionalities and interactions in their mobile apps.

2020 — 2021
Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Somnox builds a sleeping robot. The movement helps people control their breathing when trying to fall asleep. The robot cushion has an accompanying application that I helped (re)design.

2018 — 2020
Rotterdam, The Netherlands

iBilly is a mobile app that helps users organize their finances. I was part of this project from the very start. The product works on all platforms and we were one of the first to implement an automated banking connection in the EU.

2018 — 2018
Delft, The Netherlands

Meetrix Online is the company behind Lootjestrekken.nl/Drawnames.com. These websites attract millions of users during the holidays. I helped the team improve the product's flows and mobile experience.

2016 — 2018
Rotterdam, The Netherlands

MijnKassabon is a mobile app that helps users save receipts. I helped redesign both their iOS and Android app.

2016 — 2016
Utrecht, The Netherlands

Designed websites and advertisements for musea and cultural institutions in The Netherlands. Clients include Zeeuws Museum, Kasteel de Haar and NEMO.

Side Projects

2020

As I was working on a project where I quickly needed to import many Hex colors as styles, I found that that wasn't possible at the time. I then spend a weekend to figure out how to build a Figma plugin that would fit my needs. I published the plugin and it has been downloaded over 3.000 times since.

2019

I helped redesign this fun Mini Piano app for Android. The redesign was very positively welcomed by the users.

2018

I initiated a challenge to create an artwork with lines and Delaunay triangulation (didn't know it was called that at the time). The challenge lasted for 100 days.
