About

At Kakiseni, I lead program development, community outreach, grant-seeking, and collaboration with stakeholders for development initiatives, festivals, and awareness efforts. I work with Malaysian ministries, corporations, and CSOs to improve arts accessibility and promote arts education.

Beyond Kakiseni, I'm a certified coach for the international Goal programme by Standard Chartered and Women Win using sport and life-skills education for economic inclusion (implemented by WOMEN:girls in Malaysia).

In 2017 I co-founded Kekabumi; an all-female creative collective. I have styled, directed, written, and produced music videos for musicians like Lunadira, Talitha Tan, LUST, Jetcetra, and Spooky Wet Dreams. Together with Kekabumi, I organise the International Women's Day (2023 & 2022) Workshop for Vans Malaysia and its partners.

During the pandemic, the collective raised RM10,000 to help Gem & Bread, a special education school to sustain its operations. Kekabumi aspires to encourage more creatives to use art as a medium to be socially active within their community.
