Senior Product Designer in Web3 in London, UK

About

Crafting beautiful design for meaningful ideas in Web3. I combine robust utility, intuitive design, and the captivating power of storytelling, to create human centred experiences.

Over the years, I've noticed a gap in the Web3 industry—start-ups and DAOs often struggle to find high-quality design solutions to elevate their Web3 product led by design thinking.

Work Experience

2023 — Now
Remote
  • Lead UX research initiatives to uncover user needs, understand their behaviours and then translate discoveries into user-centred prototypes.

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of smart contract engineers, front-end developers, community managers, product managers and backend developers to design and refine UI and interaction design, ensuring they align with business goals and user expectations.

  • A crucial role of mine is to enhance product usability and aesthetics while maintaining technical feasibility and monitoring the design patterns for our design system.

2022 — 2023
Remote
  • Senior designer enhancing a primitive version of Kraken Wallet by designing the user interface and experience. The wallet functionality had already been engineered by Kraken, my role was to improve the UX and UI making it compelling for users.

  • Developed and maintained design wireframes, mockups, building interactive prototypes to engage with investors to get feedback.

  • Collaborated with our user researchers to recruit and test the designs we had created to ensure the experience was intuitive and resonated with the users goals when adopting a new wallet product.

  • Presented design concepts and deliverables to stakeholders, effectively communicating design vision and rationale based on research findings and metrics quantified by our research team.

2019 — 2022
Remote
  • Focused on creating intuitive, scalable, and engaging designs for various digital products for word class companies.

  • As an agency designer I was a part of a nimble squad engaging with our clients, understanding their vision and business goals. My role was to champion the user needs and align with the business goals to create a product they could get to market, fast.

  • Unlike most agencies, Metalab is product focused, and most of the design that I crafted was product design. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to monitor the results post launch, but we always checked in with our clients and the results of the design had a great impact on the business in terms of user acquisition and retention.

  • I also participated in user testing sessions and interpreted feedback to make data-driven design improvements because though we were an agency, we had a dedicated research team.

  • We weren't just design focused however, I worked collaboratively with developers and product managers to ensure designs are implementable within technological constraints.

2021

Framer X, powered by React, brought a new challenge to my skill set — if I wanted to continue using Framer, I’d have to learn React. So I did.

2020

What if you could bring more user control and freedom to explore content on Instagram? Could that better inform the algorithm, producing relevant, more personalised content leading to useful and better engagement?

2020

User testing with interactive prototypes made in Framer X are a surefire way to build the right product, the right way.
