Our team's mission is to support and create a safe and secure banking experience for our users. We build tooling for and integrations with several third party vendors to help our Customer Support, Fraud, and Legal/Compliance teams.

Recent projects by our team:

  • Implemented views for our Customer Support Team and Fraud Team to enable them to catch fraudsters faster and record fraud cases more conveniently
  • Vendor integrations for gather information on device intelligence, user PII history, and user verification (ie scanning IDs)
  • Built out various fraud defense mechanisms (transfer and spending limits, fraudulent institutions, etc...)

Product Engineering On-call Revamp

  • Overhauled outdated product engineering on-call process and worked with various product teams and Customer Support team to build out new system

Spending + Bills/Banking team (IC to Tech Lead)

  • Led a project team of two to three engineers to allow customers to connect/remove multiple external checking accounts in-app
  • Led a project team of two engineers to implement card-locking functionality within the Digit mobile app
  • Helped build out a service that performs daily transaction and balance reconciliation, and am leading the work now to enable one-off reconciliations as well

  • Led a company initiative to use Donut to help new hires feel more connected to one another during the pandemic, as well as an engineering initiative to start using an internal Stack Overflow to improve knowledge sharing within the organization

• Designed and built platform for ingesting transaction data via webhooks from partner API
