A&O Fonds Grafimediabranche helps the graphics and printing sector of the Netherlands by providing education to employees in various companies. Together with the Digital Society School, we were asked to develop new ways of making the industry more connected and engaged.

Objectives

• Provide an educational tool that is accessible and easily usable by stakeholders.

• Bring innovation through new work and team dynamics cultures.

• Improve communication and reach between printing companies, paper suppliers, designers, and clients.

Bulcão Backgrounds is an experiment with CSS where I recreated Athos Bulcão's tiles. The designs change every hour, and the position of the tiles are placed as instructed by Bulcão himself. Try reloading the page, you may get a different result!

Athos Bulcão was a Brazilian painter and sculptor, well-known for his tiles scattered around the country.

While trying to improve the way I can create art with CSS, I thought it would be a good idea to recreate his tiles in a randomly repeating pattern.
