Open House is a space for Target to tell an Internet of Things (IoT) story and educate its guests, partners, and executives.
My role was highly collaborative with a small team that did everything from user research, to initiative strategy, marketing, prototyping, creative direction, and many other things. We successfully launched a skunkworks project that turned into a flagship store for Target. Much of what we learned and designed was translated into 300+ stores nationwide.
Learning iteratively through pop-ups
We rented out storefronts in San Francisco called "IoT Playground." These were pop-up experiments for user research and enabled us to learn our way into a compelling experience for guests and for product founders.
