I built a little web page with phrases that will make every UX designer cry.

Some time ago, I responded to a Twitter thread asking what could hurt a designer, saying I could write a book full of sentences that will trigger every UX practitioner. I did not write a book — instead, I put together a tiny React SPA that places one of many insults against a fancy gradient. I'm a designer, so pardon some bad code.

In order to craft the insults, I went out there and spoke with my fellow designers, and even asked ChatGPT to generate a few prompts (these were not great, unfortunately). The gradients are generated on the go from a random colour that's picked every time you click the button or refresh a page. There are not too many prompts, but a simple Fisher–Yates shuffle makes sure they are picked somewhat randomly and are not repeated until you've seen them all.
