Chapter Lead Full Stack in Hamburg, Germany, He/Him

About

Hi, I'm Kim 👋

I live in Hamburg, Germany, and currently work for @MOIA as a Chapter Lead and Full Stack Engineer. I'm also part of the team over at Post mit Herz, a volunteering initiative to fight loneliness.

I have a special interest in the future of mobility and the cities we live in. Boardsports of any kind are my passion, as well as a good Sci-Fi Story.

My dream job always was to become what you call today an editor/cutter/VFX artist/cameraperson. All of these things are hobbies now, which I love.

Work Experience

2023 — Now
Hamburg, Germany

Starting in 2023, I will be responsible for managing multiple employees as their chapter lead. I will report directly to our directors of engineering.

2019 — 2023
Hamburg, Germany

Started in the Fleet Team and maintained sections of a larger web application related to fleet management. These sections contained interfaces for adding, editing, and removing vehicle assets in the software, as well as for monitoring them.

Later, I worked in a team called Fleet Control. Our main task was to enable our customers to monitor vehicle movement and status on a map, as well as provide an alerting system.

Fleet Control then shifted focus to developing autonomous driving connection software. This software includes features such as visualizing vehicle states and providing options to interact with the vehicles remotely (e.g., opening doors, performing cabin safety checks, and initiating video/audio calls to the vehicle).

The company was bought in 2012 by an Austrian publisher which made me switch back to WIV-GmbH.
