I wanted this music video focused on a character lost in their own thoughts (dissociation). Someone very in their own head that they are unaware of the things going on around them.

This idea mostly came from current events that are happening with our generations. all of us dream big, but with the current social conformities it’s becoming very hard to achieve them.

Dissociation is a very common thing that happens to many people, that’s why this music video goes back and forth from chaos to calmness, to mirror one’s mind when dissociating.

I've always been intrigued by the people around me—what they're up to, what thoughts occupy their minds as they wander through the bustling streets. It's fascinating how we coincidentally find ourselves in the same place, at the same time, yet with likely different purposes.

You Again is a short film that tells the tragic love story of Rue and Amia through Rue's eyes.
I co-wrote and produced this film for the Malta Youth Film Festival, as well as assisting with the overall production organisation.
