His captivating interest in STEM has helped embarked my journey into Science and Technology industry very well and has brought him many opportunities.
Projects
We established Growcalth with the goal of fostering a stronger sense of community within our school by enhancing the 'house' spirit. At SST, each student is assigned to a 'house' that becomes a part of their identity throughout the four years of school. However, we noticed a lack of active participation and a missing sense of 'house spirit' among students. To address this, we introduced Growcalth, a platform that seamlessly allows students to contribute to their house through their daily step count. This not only serves as an incentive for them to maintain a healthy lifestyle but also encourages a greater sense of camaraderie and pride within their respective houses.
Implemented an IoT detection system, to detect moisture levels of crops and provide consistent water deployment among the area. It utilises other sensors such as temperature, lighting and accelerometer to predict the evaporation rates of water and adjust accordingly.
Equipped with a Mobile App, it uses the ThingSpeak API to collect data and plot it as a graph against time to see data trends.
With the concept of AttendINC, SST-MUN Attendance encompasses similar elements. It was used for the 2024 SST-MUN.
Our research aims to leverage survival rates of fish in captivity through early diagnosis by using the applications of Machine Learning techniques to aid us in the detection process. This is essential to preserve fish populations and maintain ecological stability.
Utilised the Tensorflow Python Library which encompasses complex Machine Learning Algorithms through the use of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) to provide sequential layering of images and detect trends to classify images accordingly.
AttendINC, quite literally the ultimate attendance taking system. The problem we faced was the tedious and time-consuming process of manually taking the attendance of our club members every week. As such, when designing AttendINC, we only had 2 things in mind - Efficiency and Accuracy.
CaringBridge is a platform targeting the caregiving industry.
It offers a range of nursing homes and their reviews to allow people to search easily for caregiving services.
It also has a mental health resource page for existing caregivers to take care of their mental wel-being as caregiving can be a stressful and tedious job.
This project was for the 2023 Splash Awards by the Singapore Computer Society (SCS).

Contributed to the React authentication package by Affinidi, adding a onSuccess() prop which redirects the user after a successful authentication login.
Exhibitions
Developers' Week 2023. One of the highlights of my trip to San Francisco, CA. Networked with a lot of like-minded developers and learnt more about their companies, the problem they are trying to solve and the solution. It was cool to hear from such innovative and creative individuals in the industry and this definitely gave me a head start in my journey of creating my own start-up.
Represented the Scout Association in Singapore to run a booth at the OneAviation careers fair. Over there, we shared more about our aviation journey in scouting and programmes we offer.
Speaking
I, together with Aathithya Jegatheesan and Tristan Chay, gave a talk at GeekCampSG 2023 on SST Inc. Over there, we shared more about SST Inc, an app developer technology incubator which nurtures student start-ups.

With a strong background in the React framework, I wrote an article about the top 5 best react components that really helped me in my coding journey/i found interesting.

Awards
The National Youth Tech Championship encompasses our tech skills to go through a series of challenges, manoeuvring through obstacles with a drone. Utilising the power of machine learning, we identified obstacles accordingly using Google's very own Vertex AI and AutoML.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has launched the 8th edition of the Global FinTech Hackcelerator, titled “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Finance Global Challenge”. The competition is conducted in partnership with AI Singapore (AISG) and powered by Oliver Wyman. It seeks to produce innovative and market-ready AI solutions that can transform the financial services industry.
The "Introduction to Computational Thinking and Problem Solving" course allowed me to expand my skills in algorithmic programming.
We participated in the Splash Awards 2023 with the theme "Building Resilient Communities With Tech". Through this, we built our product 'CaringBridge', which targets caregivers mental health and gives them resources and support to navigate the challenges of caregiving.
Idea is simple, yet useful. A decision making application, where we used the application of AI and logical reasoning to help you make better decisions :)
The Computational and Algorithmic Thinking (CAT) competition gives students the opportunity to develop their problem-solving skills through algorithmic thinking. The competition incorporates unique ‘three-stage tasks’ that encourage students to develop informal algorithms and apply them to test data of increasing size or complexity.
SASMO is a math olympiad contest that stretches not only the brightest students but is aimed at instilling confidence for all students.

Work Experience
Lead the development, and developed the GrowCalth Application. A platform to promote active lifestyles, one step at a time. GrowCalth aims to be launched in schools to be able to act as an incentive for students to be able to lead an active lifestyle. Exchanging steps for points, contributing to their house. Not only does it promote healthy living, but the spirit of togetherness and hard work.

Had 600+ sign-ups and >2million steps taken by our users within 2 days.
In 2023, I began freelancing to utilise my web development skills, focusing on creating portfolio websites for individuals and companies. My goal was to enhance their personal branding by delivering visually appealing and functional online platforms that showcased their unique talents and achievements.
Basically the Teaching Assistant (TA) of SST Inc. Assisted the teaching of the React curriculum to developers. Prepared quizzes, taught concepts and managed classes along side the CTOs.
Volunteering
As part of our Active Citizenship Education (ACE) curriculum, we volunteered at Engineering Good to further expand our knowledge in this field of service. As the director, I worked closely with my classmates and Engineering Good to make this service experience possible. Over there, we troubleshooted and booted up old computers that were donated by members of the public. These computers would later be donated to charity.
Education
SST is one of the 4 specialised independent schools in Singapore, which is well-known for it's STEM-focused curriculum. SST has provided me with many opportunities to expand my learning and apply my knowledge to real-world concepts.
