2023 — 2024
Remote

Led the brand and product design teams at BitGo, overseeing seven product verticals, while hiring, mentoring, and establishing team processes. Collaborated with product managers and designers to address design debt and elevate the overall product experience. Restructured the product design system in Figma, implementing best practices to enable future scaling and white-labeling. Initiated the redesign of BitGo's marketing website, guiding the team to develop multiple proposals. Additionally, evolved the product UI to create a more engaging and modern interface.

2022 — 2023
Remote

Led the design of the AI/ChatGPT-Airkit integration, which pivoted the company’s focus to AI and contributed to its eventual acquisition by Salesforce. Modernized the Figma design system, utilizing variants and built-in prototyping features to accelerate design time. Coordinated product and marketing design resources, improving processes to allow designers more time for exploration and problem definition, ultimately elevating design value company-wide.

Remote

As a founding team member at Windranger, built the design process and discipline from the ground up, hiring 11 designers in under nine months. Managed product and marketing design teams focused on DeFi products, NFT solutions, and DAO tooling, successfully delivering eight products and 13 go-to-market projects and brands. Additionally, spearheaded the 2023 SXSW blockchain-focused design panel and event mixer.

2020 — 2021
Remote

As the first design hire at Dfinity, played a pivotal role in launching the Internet Computer blockchain and its management tools, now with a market cap over $4 billion and 300k+ users and developers. Led a multidisciplinary design team in creating blockchain management solutions, including authentication, token management, and governance dashboards. Provided creative direction for virtual launch events and sourced talent to support internal and partner products. Established the design process and managed various brands like Motoko and The Reboot, driving Dfinity’s marketing, product education, and social media efforts.

Managed and mentored Originate's distributed design team, fostering a culture of innovation and elevating design across the company and its clients. Enhanced client focus by restructuring teams, documenting best practices, and developing new engagement guides. Provided oversight on pitches, proposals, and design-focused partner relationships while collaborating with product and engineering leads to distill client needs and build MVPs.

2013 — 2017
San Francisco

Responsible for building and leading the design team, copy writers, and media manager. Over my seven year tenure we launched four products in ten markets to over 500,000 users. During that time our team was responsible for all product, marketing, and brand efforts including multi-city out door ad campaigns, commercial ad production, and multi-platform product launches. Our product work has been featured in keynotes for Apple iOS, WatchOS, and Samsung Gear S3.

2011 — 2013
San Francisco

Designed the initial Getaround app, winner of TechCrunch Disrupt 2011. Later launched Instant Rentals product, first in peer-to-peer car rental space, becoming 90% of business in three months leading to business and brand pivot. Designed and launched a complex check-out product with cross-platform fraud check reducing vehicle theft and damage by 80%. Designed internal suite of customer support and fleet management tools to track calls, users, cars, and rentals.
