I’m a product designer, writer, and strategist helping startups, entrepreneurs, and forward-thinking product teams launch new digital products and businesses. I’ve led product design initiatives and teams both in-house and as a hired consultant at agencies in Japan and the U.S., multiple early-stage hardware/software startups, and Fortune 100 companies.
Work Experience
I've helped with end-to-end product design and strategy for clients ranging from two people with a rough idea to seed and series-A startups to Fortune 100 corporations across native mobile apps, consumer and B2B responsive web applications, as well as integrated hardware/software product experiences.
Working with the Pixel Watch / Fitbit team on next-gen wearables across software and hardware.
Led all design across interaction, visual, and prototyping for a new product in GoPro's camera lineup, the GoPro Hero 11 Black Mini.
Designing the camera in your pocket. Led design, strategy, engineering, and product management for Moment's iOS and Android products including hiring, hands-on hardware/software interaction, product/visual/motion design across multiple major releases.
Led research-driven product design for AI-based, cross-platform, conversational experiences and natural language processing for end users as well as developers using the bot framework API.
Led product design for voice communication and contacts/people on the Android OS across three major releases.
Contour made wearable action cameras and mobile apps with GPS and mapping for action sports. I led the design and product team while having a hand-on role across user experience, brand, graphic design, and product strategy.
