PROJECT SUMMARY:
Designed an enhanced rider experience for Caltrain by creating a native app that seamlessly integrates NFC technology with existing Caltrain systems, making it easier for travelers to navigate their journeys.
MY ROLE:
Led the concept and design of a new Caltrain native app that allows users to move effortlessly from destination to destination, enhancing their overall transit experience.
PROBLEM:
Caltrain’s rider experience was outdated, relying on old kiosks, paper maps, and cumbersome systems for purchasing tickets and tagging on and off trains. This led to frequent issues, including forgotten check-ins, expired tickets, and missed destinations.
SOLUTION:
Developed a user-friendly native app that streamlined the entire travel process, guiding users in finding their destinations, purchasing tickets, and tagging on and off trains with ease.
