Was thoroughly exposed to the diamond mining process in the Main Treatment Plant of Jwaneng Mine, where I learnt:

• The Mining Process: Familiarized myself with the various stages of diamond mining, from exploration to processing, and observed areas where Automation and Instrumentation is applied effectively.

• Complex Automation of Mining Operations: How automated systems are used to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tasks such as diamond extraction, sorting, and processing

• Industry Trends: Learnt about the latest advancements in A&l, to identify new opportunities for improvement and innovation.

• Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Practices in the mine

• Formed and led a marketing team which increased social media traffic 5x
• Led the redesign of the organization website
• Developed a marketing strategy to boost the reach of the organization

The Runway is a NPO focused on providing personalized student support for students preparing to study abroad or transition back from the diaspora.

Key achievements:

• Was part of a team that organized and marketed the 'Boela Gae' reintegration program. Successful participants through our program managed to secure employment.
• Identified key issues facing students in Russia which helped the organization develop programs to address those issues
