  • Partnered with Prof. Patrick Carrington and PhD Franklin Li to create OSCAR: a system that allows visually-impaired people to effortlessly navigate recipes by tracking cooking object statuses.

  • Conducted large-scale object status feasibility testing by processing 170+ recipes/1,350+ recipe cooking images using CLIP, sigLIP, and GPT-4 vision models in Python.

  • Developed frontend and backend for OSCAR web application using React and Python Flask featuring responsive time cursor providing context for all recipe frames, and GPT-4 chat-box allowing users to ask recipe-based questions.

  • Collaborated with Dr. David Lindlbauer on MineXR: a Meta-funded research project on how people integrate and orient personalized apps (widgets) in extended reality (XR) within everyday spaces.

  • Conducted and designed 20+ two-hour user studies developing MineXR’s overall database ie. widget placement and placement reasoning.

  • Annotated 70+ widgets within database describing their UI components to model the XR space in Unity, determining and categorizing commonly-grouped widgets.

  • Utilized Node.js, React.js, Tailwind.css, and Javascript to develop browser-based webapp that provides film recommendations by historically underrepresented directors based on users' film preferences.

  • Extracted users' film preferences using Letterboxd API.

  • Utilized OpenAI API embeddings to search historically underrepresented director film dataset to provide recommendations.

  • Implemented Python program "Zhuan" designed to take a Spotify user's data and output the user's Chinese Zodiac animal and a graphical/visual representation of their recent listening activity.
