Side Projects
Utilizing blogging (via WordPress), social media, and podcasting, I told the story of breweries in the local Fort Worth area and throughout the USA. In writing opinion pieces and biographical articles, my primary goal is to show the story of a brewery, local or national, with the utmost quality via professional images, the correctness of the information, and guidance. Twitter posts were written regarding local events, beer education (both for industry folks and craft beer fans alike), beer news articles, and tweets of thought-provoking conversations that were aimed at propelling the beer industry in a positive and sustainable place. Through the marketing success of this blog, I worked with various local beer-focused businesses to put on large events like North Texas Beer Week, Martin House Brewing Presents The Toadies, Zio Carlo Magnolia Brewpub's 3rd Anniversary party, Chimera Brewing's Anniversary, North Texas Firkin Fest, and The Collective Brewing Project's 1st and 2nd Anniversaries. While I had a co-host on the podcast, all of the original content was produced by myself. (Note: When the blog was first formed, it was known as Fort Worth Brew Scene and it rebranded to Good Brew Guide at the beginning of 2016.)
