Work Experience

2019 — Now
Vancouver, Canada

As a Staff Software Product Design at Article, I lead design within my primary software product team as well as design of force multiplying tools and methods used by teams working across Article’s ecommerce experience. I help other designers do their best work by working on tools, process, coaching, and providing feedback. I contribute to Article’s strategy and holistic vision—the easiest way to create a beautiful modern space.

I designed products for Jostle’s SaaS intranet platform, which helps people connect and communicate in the workplace. Design spanned desktop web, iOS, Android, and Android TV clients.

Half of my time at Steamclock was designing the products WeddingDJ and PartyMonster. I spent the other half of my time designing iOS, Android, and web products for our clients.

2012 — 2012

At FAC, I designed print and digital collateral for Nintendo, Park Royal Shopping Centre, Vancouver’s most successful real estate developers, and Marketplace Events.

2011 — 2012

I worked at The SIM Centre. The experience opened up opportunities for me to work with Mozilla, Steamclock Software, and other ECUAD faculty and students on design research projects.

2012

My wife started a ecommerce retail business in 2012. We were ahead of the curve for ecomm in Canada, which pushed us to launch 4 brick-and-mortar spaces over the past 10 years. Thankfully, the online side of the business has steadily grown each year and we’ve been able to scale back to a single physical location. Our shop’s in the heart of Vancouver, Main Street at 21st Ave.
