Kodo Nishimura is an artist, Buddhist monk, and activist. He was born in Tokyo in 1989. He graduated from the Parsons School of Design in New York. In 2021, he was selected by TIME Magazine as a Next Generation Leader.

I oversee all visual aspects of his digital persona, from video shooting, photography, branding, advertising, art direction, community management, and web development.

2020 — 2023

Trumo Talks was a digital magazine focused on the youth audience, aimed to raise awareness and shape a better future in line with Sustainable Development Goals. We created a community of over 80 thousand young people, organized seven live events, and collaborated with international brands such as Dr. Martens and the Estéreo Picnic.

This project was my first start-up, and I worked as CEO and Editor in Chief.

2021 — 2022

Villegas Editores is one of the most prominent Colombian publishing houses that endure in the market. Their focus lies in producing large-format books encompassing photography and Colombian culture.

My role was as the Head of Design, leading the digital transformation of the brand, as well as overseeing the development of advertising campaigns. These campaigns encompassed the launch of five new book publications, the Bogotá Book Fair in 2022, and the "100 Free Books" project in collaboration with the Colombian Ministry of Culture.

Leo Burnett is an international advertising agency. I worked there as a graphic designer for Coca-Cola Company and Davivienda Bank.
