I have over 6 years experience as a Product Designer, working from small start ups through to large global tech companies. I love collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to create solutions which can provide delight in users & positively impact our world.

Design lead within the Kraken Utilities team

Owner of an online consumer portal product - responsible for taking the project from conception through to hand-off with developers, managing development timeline and releases

Work closely with product managers on strategy and product roadmap

Collaborate with clients to align on the product, through workshops and sessions

2020 — 2022

Led the design of successful large-scale projects, including a new B2C product, dashboard implementation, gamification features (badges & streaks), and mobile optimisation

Collaborated closely with product managers to define and map out project features

Worked in close tandem with both front-end and back-end developers to ensure perfect implementation of final solutions

Initiated migration from Sketch to Figma as well as building and maintaining a new design system that followed code-based structure

Collaborated with a small design team during the start-up phase, contributing to the development of new question types in the product's CMS

Led the design for a project with the GDS, working closely with stakeholders to define user journeys and conducting usability testing to improve the product

Conducted workshops to present ideas and gain insights that enhanced overall project outcomes.

Creator and owner of the design system and templates for the product's online learning content

Responsible for designing and managing digital and print assets such as presentations, event stands, brochures & video content

Worked on projects with involved collaborating with companies including Philips and Reckitt Benckiser

Developed both practical and digital skills, whilst learning how to understand problems, put the user first and provide solutions using a design thinking approach

Wrote my final thesis on how Biomimicry can inspire designers to create more sustainable solutions (1st class)

My final major project was based around encouraging children to get more involved with sustainability at a crucial learning age. The outcome was an interactive kit, which include various products and an app where users could track their progress. This was shortlisted for the Wilko Retail Design award at the New Designers exhibition in 2017
