About

Joie is currently a Senior Director of Product Design at Realtor.com, with over 16 years of experience in the digital design space. Though she started as a web designer/developer, she spent the majority of her career specializing in interaction & visual design (UX/Product) for mobile apps.

She loves problem solving and is passionate about the role design and tech can have in making people's lives easier. She has worked with a wide range of clients in sports, health, finance, logistics, energy, and travel. Prior to her current role, she led a talented cross-functional UX team at Expedia Group to design apps for vacation rental owners and property managers to better run their business.

She is now focused on building a strong design organization at Realtor.com to create a buying experience that's easier, more accessible and more transparent, as well as supporting the needs of real estate professionals to better assist consumers along the journey.

Outside of supporting her team, she speaks about design and leadership, as well as mentoring new designers and managers in the industry. In her free time, you can find her traveling, hiking and exploring trails, petting puppies at the dog park, or hanging out at coffee shops around Austin.
