Work Experience

2022 — Now
Senior UI Designer at TSB

Moved to the Product Design team where we design and build the online banking app and internet banking site. Currently managing a remote UI design team to produce mobile-first and accessible designs for development. Participating in planning sessions to allocate design resources. Responsible for guiding the overall look, feel and flow of the mobile banking app, and finding opportunities to further TSB’s visual design.

2022 — Now
City of London, London

Part of the Customer Experience & Innovation team where we used user research to shape the future vision for TSB Bank. Contributed to decision making by advocating for design and identifying opportunities to improve the user experience for the mobile banking app. Worked across teams to push the TSB ethos of Money Confidence. Produced user-centred concepts for upcoming features and functionality.

2021 — 2022
Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Designing white label solutions for international real estate clients, producing high fidelity wireframes for app interfaces, and participating in the evaluation of feature requests (internal and external) for the Mallcomm app.

Also responsible for improvements made to the design team’s workflow. Switched the team onto new software that better enabled collaborative working between design and dev, as well as documenting the design constraints and shared components within the white label app design, for more consistent and efficient white label design.

2017 — 2021
Senior Digital Designer at SAENTYS
Shoreditch, London

Key responsibilities include designing responsive websites, microsites, and app interfaces for our international real estate and corporate clients.

Working alongside producers and account managers to craft highly detailed and delightful campaign deliverables, I have worked on taking projects from a pitch concept through to a realised website design, collaborating with designers and developers throughout the process to bring sophisticated designs to life.

2014 — 2017
Lead Designer (Freelance) at Pop My Mind
Remote & Ipswich, Suffolk

Pop My Mind is a curated online hub for artists of all disciplines. Our community are challenged to produce new work in response to each other's work, making the hub a springboard for fresh ideas and dynamic creativity.

Key responsibilities have included providing conceptual work during the platform's planning stages, designing the website's alpha build through to beta, developing the platform's interface, and building its visual identity across a variety of mediums.

2015 — 2017
Graphic and Web Designer at Azexis
Ipswich, Suffolk

Key responsibilities included designing bespoke web designs, user interfaces, and template themes utilising the Evance software. I also provided ongoing support for our clients through website and product photography, custom website graphics, and email marketing campaigns through Mailchimp.

Worked alongside the Senior Developer and Technical Director to improve and refine the Evance user interface and its Theme Library. I have worked on bespoke CMS and eCommerce websites for a variety of international and independent companies, often working directly with clients and developers to carry the project from design through to completion. I was also responsible for improvements made to the in-house design workflow and in ensuring consistent quality was maintained from design through to implementation.

2014 — 2014
Intern at The Idle Man
Shoreditch, London

I worked as an intern with The Idle Man on a speculative basis. Daily tasks in the office included assisting the lead digital designer in projects, producing promotional graphics for The Idle Man website, blog, and social media accounts, as well as mocking up web pages for implementation.

Worked on the redesign and expansion of the Simple Life London website.
