Writing
During our House Church season we were privileged to host a Seder Dinner in our home. I assembled a script for the dinner from various resources. While I did not write this material it took me hours to research, study and assemble. It was one of the best traditions we've ever begun in our house.

Our church met in homes in the fall of 2020 during COVID. We missed each other and collectively decided to take the risk. My daughter and I put together a Christmas play for the kids. We pulled excerpts from the Jesus Story Book bible. Unfortunately, the final Sunday before the play, we met to rehearse and the entire church came down with the big C. We were never able to perform the play. It would have been amazing!

I was asked to speak at the 2019 Normandy Women's Retreat. Garden Life was the message I shared. We put the message into booklet form for the ladies.
One of the events I was privileged to put together yearly for Normandy Church was our Good Friday Service. It was a multi-media, interactive service with times of worship, scripture readings and moments for reflection. We had an artist on stage painting from start to finish. This planning center order of service gives a snapshot of the event.
Volunteering
My husband and I helped our church family transition after dissolution of Normandy Church for three months this year from March to May. We hosted church in our home, created services including worship, kids, messages and discussion times. We were able to have a Seder dinner for Easter weekend. It was a rich, beautiful and sad time.

Blues Rock Band with Dallas guitar legends Jimmy Wallace and Jerry Branch. We’ve played private events, in restaurants and bars, at half-time for the Texas Tornadoes, The Dallas International Guitar Festival and other events in the DFW area. The J’s provided a constant opportunity to reach out to people in very broken places that would never darken the doors of a church voluntarily.
These quarterly events took place in our home. We ate together, worshipped, prayed and ministered to anyone who needed it. They were so fun.
Started with Worship Leader Brooke Wesson for songwriters age 7 and up. The kids had a blast learning about how to put their stories to song. We taught about the craft, went through exercises to stimulate creativity and encourage collaboration and spent time
with each student working on their song. The goal was for every student to leave with a song they wrote!
