Huawei Hackathon 2021 was an online qualification and onsite competition called "Hackathon 2021 - Sweden University Challenge". It was an opportunity for computer science students from all over Sweden, from BScs to PhDs, to showcase their coding skills and innovative ideas. The hackathon was held virtually from November 25-29, 2021, for the qualification phase, and then on December 3-4, 2021, for the 24-hour hackathon. The event was organized by Huawei, and it was aimed at encouraging innovation among talented students. The participants had to defend their school's flag through Huawei's Hackathon 2021. The competition was held in Stockholm, and 14 teams participated in it. The tasks were submitted on December 4, 2021, and six teams were selected as winners. The hackathon was an opportunity for students to learn from Huawei's tech experts while enriching their skills.

2017

AngelHack Global Hackathon Series was held in Kabul, Afghanistan in 2017. The event was organized by AngelHack, and it was aimed at encouraging innovation among coders, designers, and entrepreneurs in Kabul. The hackathon took place on May 3-4, 2017, at the Afghanistan Technical Vocational Institute (ATVI) in Kabul. The event featured 35 Afghan youth, including university students, who exhibited their coding skills.
