Creative Ux Designer in Shanghai
About
I favor product experiences that feature innovative interactive experiences and profound visual language, aligning with user instincts. I strive to ensure every product I handle meets this standard
Over the past few years in Shanghai, I've been designing educational products for Liulishuo, tackling the challenges of internationalizing and customizing English education.
Projects
In this design exploration, we focused on creating high-quality educational content and comprehensively optimized the Liulishuo app. We streamlined the visual elements to highlight the quality of the content and improved the navigation system, enabling users to quickly access the resources they need for a seamless learning experience.
The AI Foreign Teacher courses represent an innovative attempt by Liulishuo in the core algorithm sector, introducing an adaptive mobile English classroom for the first time using smart AI technology. To enhance this new teaching model, we incorporated an AI-based virtual foreign teacher avatar. However, the initial UI visual design failed to effectively convey the core concept of the AI course. Therefore, we need to develop a new visual UI language that clearly communicates this concept and ensures it meets the needs of both domestic and international markets, attracting global users. In the design, we opted for a modern and minimalist style to highlight the cutting-edge and innovative nature of AI technology, aiming to satisfy the aesthetic preferences and usability habits of users in different markets.
With the product undergoing a comprehensive revamp, the existing website fell short in terms of information architecture and visual presentation, failing to meet the new requirements. The website lacked a clear representation of learners' current status, making it inefficient to convey the product's core values to potential users, resulting in difficulties in attracting new users. Additionally, the overall visual style of the website differed from the upgraded product image, leading to an inconsistent brand experience for users.
To attract potential users and optimize the website experience, we employed a scenario-based approach, showcasing users' relaxed and enjoyable learning states while using the product, allowing visitors to directly experience the joy and effectiveness of learning. Through concise and refined copy and visual elements, we clearly communicated the product's core selling points and advantages. Simultaneously, by integrating brand visual language and interactive effects, we provided an in-depth explanation of the "input-output" learning philosophy advocated by the product, enabling users to fully comprehend the forward-thinking and practical value of this approach.
