About

I'm a multidisciplinary product designer and mentor of 12+ years experience. I have a broad professional history which blends an engineer’s technical curiosity and keep-it-simple attitude with a designer’s passion for problem solving and crafting meticulous user-centred, accessible, usable and delightful experiences.

Projects

2023

A MVP redesign of the trip page to optimize the customer booking experience.

2022

Refresh the UI of the app account summary to accompany a technical migration to a new payment system and Javascript framework.

2022

Designing the UI to integrate the Transond,io marketing platform into Capsule Contact views and provide functionality to allow capsule customers to monitor their email campaign success within the Capsule application.

2021

Introduce a highly requested feature to allow customers to send email directly to their stored contacts from within the Capsule UI

2019

Introducing a new sign up flow that minimises the amount of time, information and effort that a user needs to use in order to sign up to and start using Capsule.

Side Projects

2023
Photography Portfolio at Personal

My second passion in life (apart from product design) is photography. I am building from scratch a simple online portfolio to show my work and share my thoughts on my other creative outlet.

2023
Rich Pickings at Personal

Rich pickings grew (pun intended) from an idea suggested by my friend who is an avid forager. This was a chance to explore the idea of an app that provides a community with great places to forage for wild fruits, flowers, fungi etc.

2022

Now that the world is opening up again, it’s time to travel! Unfortunately organising a trip between a group of geographically separate people can be a chore, we have to use a bunch of different tools and link them together in a way that can be disjointed and key ideas and information can easily fall through the cracks, that’s there letsgo comes in.

I worked on modernising their existing UI and UX as well as working on next iterations to incorporate a number of data-driven features. I worked
on introducing a more consistent design language throughout their product by way of a design system and working closely with their development team as a consultant where design and development intersected.
