I am a senior designer and compositing artist with a passion for creating and animating stunning visual effects and graphics for television shows. I have over 20 years of experience in graphic design and over 10 years in the television industry, working on various projects ranging from dramas to documentaries to cartoons. I am always learning new skills and techniques in the art of filmmaking and to further improve the quality and creativity of my work.
Work Experience
Responsible for the VFX and compositing on a children's television show that has produced 97 episodes so far.
On location VFX supervisor for VFX heavy episodes.
Managing teams of artists on multiple projects.
Designed branding, title sequences, and motion graphics for many shows from dramas to documentaries to cartoons.
Created interactive experiences with apps and interactive ebooks for children.
Fixed broken footage using various techniques such as rotoscoping, tracking, keying, and painting
Animated over 30 episodes of two different children’s TV shows
Started my own company that specialised in branding, general graphic design and book design. Soon learnt HTML and CSS so as to be able to provide website services and ebooks.
Project manager of a £800,000 development that transformed a wet and desolate 8 acre area in to a recreational resource that supports wildlife and the local community.

Managing a nightclub in the heart of Cardiff with a staff of at least 20. Started off by working behind the bar in '97.

Obtained this qualification specifically as to be able to teach graphic design, photography and print publishing to the young people of Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Specialised in photography and printmaking. I got to combine both aspect by using my first Mac to create my award winning degree show.
An intense year of learning all aspects of art & design. Key subjects for myself were drawing, painting, photography and some film making.
