I work closely with directors and production teams to deliver high-quality VFX on varying budgets for a range of television projects, from documentaries, dramas and children’s shows. My role combines creative leadership, technical expertise, and project management.

Key responsibilities and achievements:

• Lead VFX artist and compositor for a BAFTA award winning children’s television series, delivering over 30 VFX shots per 15-minute episode, with a total of 100+ episodes produced to date. Each episode is completed within a 6 day timeframe, working in a small team of two artists.

• Supervise on-set VFX shoots, collaborating with directors to plan and execute complex shots within budget constraints.

• Utilise a wide range of techniques including green screen keying, rotoscoping, tracking, and digital painting to create seamless visual effects.

• Employ photogrammetry to scan and integrate real-world objects into digital environments, enhancing the realism of VFX shots.

• Design and create 3D assets using Cinema 4D.

• Specialise in repairing damaged footage under tight deadlines, ensuring programme delivery despite technical challenges.

• Paint out and reconstruct areas of footage to remove logos, identifiable items, and unwanted elements from documentary and drama footage.

• Animated over 30 episodes across two different children’s television shows. One that was fully animated and the other where live action interacted with the animated character.

• Design and animate title sequences, motion graphics, and branding elements for a diverse range of productions.

• Manage and mentor teams of artists across multiple concurrent projects.

• Develop interactive experiences, including apps and e-books, expanding the reach of television properties.
