About

Ian is a multi-disciplinary creative. He's been storytelling across channels such as brand creative, brand design, brand digital, social, experiential and retail. His education include a Bachelors of Design Degree with major in Graphic Design and minor in Advertising from the Alberta University of the Arts (formerly Alberta College of Art + Design) and a one-year special studies scholarship program at the School of Visual Arts with a major in Advertising.

Projects

2022

The Minnesota Twins franchise looked to Los York to create a campaign that hyped the Twin City fans after one of the league's longest lockouts. Tapping into the iconic TC Bear, we turned 'Bear Mode' into a rally cry for the team and it's brand new roster of players which featured Carlos 'C4' Correa.

With the launch of Whoop 4.0 in 2021 the app update provided athletes with even more comprehensive data about their performance and recovery. We collaborated with Whoop's internal team to create a series of films that captures the internal dialogue athletes have with themselves now that they have more knowledge around their daily performance.

Living in New York outdoor activities can seem far away but the truth is there are pockets within the city that allows us to get there. Nike NYC asked us to highlight athletes who are finding their nature within the 5 boroughs. We worked with them to unpack their sport and turn their stories into a series called New York Nature.

'Stronger Than One' is a campaign that showcase NFL athletes beyond the helmet, putting the causes they care about in the forefront. In year 2 of the campaign we dove deeper into these causes and focused on the communities that define our athlete's greatness.
