About

I am a designer with a unique background and diverse passions. Combining design with coding skills, I emphasize efficient problem-solving and delivering value to users.

I prefer Lean UX principles because they focus on outcomes rather than deliverables. This approach to design is fast and simple, saving time and aligning well with agile principles to satisfy the customer through early and continuous delivery.

Drawing from my experience as a professional athlete, I approach design challenges with a competitive spirit and a collaborative mindset. My design philosophy values honesty, organization, and trust.

Beyond work, I enjoy sports such as skiing, skateboarding, surfing, and climbing. I have also part time DJ'ed in Oslo and Copenhagen for over a decade.

Originally from Nuuk, Greenland, I am currently located in Ericeira, Portugal.

Features

2017

Appearing out of the foggy textures of trumpet, electronics, and an evocative German female vocal enchantment, arrives Hans Hug’s contribution to the Æmix series with some provocative allure. It sucks you into a mix where soft harmonic atmospheres play amongst amongst lethargic percussive evocations, calling on elements of Jazz, Afro and abstract electronica.

Hans Hug is no stranger to the booth at Jæger, falling somewhere between the eclecticism of Øyvind Morken and the soulful disposition of Mutual Intentions, with his sets always coming as a welcome surprise whenever he joins us. Hans Hug finds an esoteric voice amongst these disparate elements for this mix, forging elements together to create something quite familiar out of these strange musical landscapes. Tying a red-thread from start to finish, Hug’s edition of the Æmix takes us on a journey through the road less travelled.

2017

Cross-disciplinary school project. Selected and featured amongst 15+ projects. Conceptualized and developed by me, assets and visualizations by Graphic designers; Ruth and Mathilde.
