About

I am a designer, an educator-in-training, and a wine enthusiast. I like to work with grids, push pixels on screens, distort letters with a scanner, crack stupid jokes, cry at bad menu designs, take dangerous photos, and dance when no one is watching.

Work Experience

2021 — Now
San Francisco, CA

Currently on the Core Product team designing features for the main canvas surface and team collaboration. Some projects include:

Page columns—lets users create flexible, expressive, and beautiful layouts by enabling various Coda building blocks side-by-side.

Comment refresh—improved visual & interaction (comment highlights, reactions, notifications, etc.) that lets users quickly scan, find and reply to comment threads on a page.

Suggest changes—enables collaborators to suggest text edits on a page so other team members can later accept/reject the changes.

2018 — 2020
San Francisco, CA

Worked within a product team as the first designer to ship features and experiences for the product platforms on desktop and mobile. Some projects include:

Site builder—allows users to create and manage site projects (input project metadata, upload/edit floorplans, integrations with other software, etc.).

360º video capture—enables users to connect mobile devices to third-party 360º cameras to capture individual floors of construction sites.

Field note—lets users flag issues (using status, comment,
tags) and notify the appropriate team members for review.

Progress tracking—helps quantify how much work has been installed, helps contractors see if their work is on track for payment, and paints a picture of how fast/slow trades are moving.

2017 — 2018
