I started my role as a product designer at Retorna in July 2023. One of the most important challenges I had when I joined was to propose a more global aspect to the general design and experience of the product, and thus progressively introduce new functionalities.
Design System â¨
Some of the initial processes we were able to implement were a restructuring of the design system to speed up processes and have a better understanding of all components with rapid implementation and updates in Figma.
Interface Improvements đ
A crucial aspect in improving the app is to convey an overall product feel, while maintaining a minimalist and timeless design. The key is to evolve gradually, avoiding high development costs. To achieve this, we leverage a scalable and efficient design system.
