As Senior Product Designer at CommentSold, a SaaS platform with B2B2C markets, I was responsible for zero to 1 design across our core experience, as well as branded native iOS and Android apps, and our point of sale tablet application. In addition to leading design in these areas, I was also responsible for the company's design system and operational efforts.

  • Lead end-to-end design efforts for adaptive web – including Site Builder (CMS), native mobile apps, and tablet point of sale. Point of sale was responsible for over 100K in GMV within one month of beta launch.

  • Orchestrate design operations, leading efforts to standardize processes and ways of working between design, product and engineering.

  • Implement and manage company design system; serve as main contributor and collaborator with UX Engineers to evangelize adoption and governance of system with both designers and 30+ engineers. Designed and documented over 50 components/patterns with UX Engineering for consumption in Figma & Storybook.

  • Operationalize user research activities at organization: set standards for intake and feedback loops among departments, work with Product Marketing to build and recruit research participant pools, and manage user research repository.

As the lead designer/digital art director at AMResorts, I was responsible for the digital implementation of brand identity and user interfaces for 8 all-inclusive resort brands across B2B and B2C segments.

  • Develop and maintain brand identity for 8 brands and multiple market segments, facilitating with copywriters and brand marketers to guarantee consistency across all digital efforts.

  • Lead visual design across omnichannel experiences: websites, rich media display, email, booking, and more.

  • Design and develop custom email and landing page components and templates utilizing HTML/CSS, JS, and Bootstrap framework to increase efficiencies and ensure wide-scale support and accessibility for all initiatives. Customizations allow for 15+ team members without coding or design experience to build email and landing pages within 1-2 days.

  • Lead visual design for large-scale website projects and new brand development and perform stakeholder interviews, brand and user personas, and development of UI kit and design system.

  • Improve email performance by applying design and development optimizations through A/B testing, personalization, and dynamic content, resulting in 37% increase in open rates and 49% increase in click rates.
