As the Head of Design at Nomba, I oversee both product and brand design, positioning myself at the intersection of innovation and identity, so individuals and businesses can expand their horizon, thereby promoting financial prosperity in Africa. Notable 0 to 1 verticals worked on - Consumer banking, invoicing, POS terminal payment collection, menu for restaurants, pay by QR (scan to pay), inventory, expense management, and a host of other related features and products.

2012 — 2022

Led design in building a digital Africa with Jumia - bringing over 29 million consumer goods to 1.2 billion Africans via innovative consumer experiences and brand touch points. Led and crafted an efficient design culture in 10 african countries

Founding Designer at Jumia Group

Onboarded as the founding designer at Jumia (formerly known as Kasuwa), helped in the capacity of a web/product designer, visual & growth designer, and EDM/newsletter design specialist.

2011 — 2012

I was responsible for the creation of web contents and marketing communication collaterals. Developed daily newsletters, GDN banners, homepage banners and more. Practically handled the UX/UI projects and branding as well.

Product managed Media24 LTD verticals in Nigeria. I also worked as the sole onsite UI/UX designer in Sub-Saharan Africa. I wore multiple hats, was also responsible for growth visual designs

Goflexnow is digital application where senders like, riders, and other logistics supply chain experts can converge to move goods from point A to B seamlessly, thereby enabling the sender to be more and do what they love, riders to earn more and live well, also improving the logistic landscape and supply chain in Africa.

I was paired with a PM to lead the design effort for the supplies of covid-19 medical supplies to the african continent. ASMP was the sole supplier to Africa's 52 country nation.
