Work Experience
At RevolutionRace I work as an UI/UX designer focusing on creating the best user experience possible together with my amazing WebOpt Team of specialists and developers and of course the user!
A typical work flow can look like; create a hypothesis, then shape that into an idea/mock-up/design, then test it out, then implement it and eventually continue to iterate 🤓
At Bubbleroom (A party fashion e-commerce retailer) I worked as a Digital Art Director for the Bubbleroom website. This meant taking lead as project manager and UI/UX in launching a responsive website as well as creating mock-ups for web site design improvements on PDP and PLP and new payment solutions in check out.
As a web designer at Ellos Group; more specifically the home textile and decoration brand, Jotex, I designed and coded bits and pieces for their website and newsletters. In other words made sure that everything looked great and worked fabulously on the site (from a web design and user-friendly perspective). Being part of the E-commerce team also meant that I had to think E-commerce, communication and social media on a daily basis.
When freelancing I worked with both print and web. In the print area I designed newspaper adverts, graphic design material such as flyers, roll-ups, illustrations, graphic profiles.
In the web area I have designed websites and material for social media projects.
As a graphic design consultant for Hemtex (a retail chain for home textiles) I worked with both web and print, in their marketing department. My assignments involved everything from designing newspaper ads, signage material for their stores, product packaging, to designing their website, newsletters and material for social media events.
Side Projects
Stay organised with this simple ToDo list with pink sticky notes, built in React 👌🏼
An awesome memory game built by me, during the “Tjejerkodar” code camp also my first project built in React. Worth mentioning too is the fun use of actual emojis (not images) in both the game and code. Play and enjoy 👍 😉
In need for a gorgeous and minimal 404 page, with two different color palettes, triggered by a page load? Of course you are! The CSS code contains, smooth animated gradient button hovers and a neat ‘shape-outside’ rule for text to align along a specific shape. All built in Sass and fully responsive. Use however you like! ♡
Instead of designing a traditional Christmas card, the one I design every year, I decided to make an inviting Glögg party form instead. This one page site is also built with Sass for the form I used a jQuery form validator plugin.
An exciting typography memory game, where you hit a box and match two typefaces with one an other. The webpage also provides you with all necessary info about the typefaces used. Just check out the footer.
