3D Kitchen Configurator

Software main menu.
Kitchen room setup. You can define room dimensions (with visual representation) and utility points (eletricity, water, sewage and gas).
Kitchen builder screen (3D camera view).
Kitchen builder screen (2D camera view).
Contextual menu. Most pieces can change type, position and rotation of the handles and color.
Budget screen, it displays all kitchen products chosen in the kitchen builder.
3D realistic render viewer. The images are rendered in real time with Unreal Engine. They can then can be viewed in the software as seen in the example.

THE PROJECT:

A kitchen configuration solution for Maxmat, a portuguese DIY retailer, that enables real-time creation, estimation and realistic rendering of kitchen spaces, allowing store employees to budget customers kitchens quickly and efficiently.

MY ROLE:

Additional UI Design

Responsible for designing additional features of the software and subsequent updates, such as:

  • Kitchen room planning configurator

  • Kitchen/walls/floor color picker & display

  • Form to automatically send the kitchen budget to the client

  • Kitchen 3D render visualization screen

UI Programming

Responsible for the implementation of all UI elements and their features in the software, such as:

  • Kitchen room planning configurator

  • Furniture selection

  • Furniture color and handles picker

  • Budget items listing

  • 360 degree camera navigation

  • Etc.
