Certifications

2023

During this 2-day course, I learned how to:

  • plan a content project from scoping to testing
  • map a user journey from research data
  • get from a bank of user needs to pieces of content
  • use empathy mapping to inform content and its tone
  • get to a content taxonomy and content types from research
  • match up business needs and user needs
  • have an understanding of how to involve stakeholders
2022

I studied this course after completing the Professional Diploma in UX Design with the UX Design Institute.

I did so as I view user interface design as a natural path of progression to the user experience. One complements the other. And with UI coming after UX in the design progress, I felt it made sense to discover more in this area of study. And to further reinforce what I’d learned before in the UX diploma.

Different stages of the project:

  • Research and analysis of UI
  • Individual module exercises
  • Create final assignment project designs
  • Final exam
2021

I studied this course because I see UX as a natural companion to my primary area of work – content design. I wanted to learn more about this area and complement my work in content.

Different stages of the project:

  • Research
  • Analysis
  • Design
  • Prototyping
  • Wireframing
