Work Experience
At Bitfactory, I specialise in the introduction and application of human-centered design and research practices to enterprise scale challenges and startups alike.
My contributions include:
- Assisting with introducing Design Operations in a largely programming oriented company.
- Facilitating Design Workshops
- Conducting User Research
- Engaging with stakeholders to apply UX/UI Standards
- Designing compelling, goal oriented User Interfaces
My responsibilities are, among other:
- Bridging the gap between the the client's teams, the design team, and the developers.
- Mentoring my fellow design colleagues / interns
- Distilling complex concepts to help stakeholders make educated decisions
- Keeping track of and safeguarding effective sprints and their user stories
- Ensuring best practices are technically implemented
Side Projects
This is my personal blog where I explore how to continuously make successful apps.
Self-initiated: I am sharing my process and progress in learning how to code with Vue.js and Firebase on my Linkedin articles. Keepcode is a code snippet library application, and a project I fully design and develop – with the help of my friends.
Self-initiated: A Heavy Metal music recommendations and blog. Used to share my affinity for heavy metal music, while exploring SEO, community building and site development.
Self-initiated: Taught myself font-end development in order to create this project. It is my first Vue.js based application I have created in order to improve my physical health.
