Toronto

As a Design Lead, I am responsible for the vision, growth and iteration of the user experience for the Web channel on Tangerine.ca while leading and growing a team of Product Designers and Content Designers.

I collaborated with game designers and product managers to align with product vision by gathering and analyzing user needs and goals with generative and evaluative research methods. I translated these findings into workflows and designs alongside other designers, technical artists, and game designers.

2019 — 2021
Toronto

By using data-driven design, and design thinking methods I redesigned complex banking flows that includes transactional banking, investments, loans, and more within RBC Online Banking, both website and app, which serves ~12M people daily. While working collaboratively in a cross-functional team, I conducted UX research, created visual and interaction designs, prototypes, user-flows and more. Further, I was responsible for the management of the design system within the channel, and was Co-Lead of the Visual Design Practice Chapter.

Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

I was responsible for the marketing design, conversion funnels using social proof optimizations, and social media campaigns of TurboTax.ca. Using usability and A/B testing to increase clickthrough rates and generate revenue throughout the upcoming busy tax season.

Milton, Ontario, Canada

I was responsible for designing the front-end of an agricultural SaaS that connects growers with a proprietary growth technology to maximize plant growth and volume while maintaining a small footprint. Another focus was toward designing a large, interactive display for the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo alongside engineers and developers.

2017 — 2018
Toronto

I collaborated within a small cross-functional team on the large scale re- platforming of all Scotiabank.com websites (12000+ pages). My role included redesigning landing pages, templates, UI elements, and complex user-flows using analytical tools to gather quantitative data, while learning customer behaviours through usability testing methods like interviews, surveys and card sorting. I also crafted the user experience for the custom CMS that content managers use to manage the marketing content for Scotiabank.com. I teamed with a small team of designers and developers to design and build the style guide and UI kit for Scotiabank.com websites.

I was responsible for the fully accessible, responsive design and front-end development of web pages including landing, product, and campaigns pages across all Scotiabank.com public sites. I lead and managed the internal web standards and style guide used for internal sites and with external vendors.
