La Matinale is an application of the French newspaper Le Monde which offers a selection of press articles every morning. This selection is displayed as a deck of cards, so you can keep or remove articles that interest you by swiping left or right in a Tinder-like style.
I'm a big fan of this app. I've been using it since the day of its release in 2015. Its only flaw is that it is only available on smartphone. Since the iPad is the device I use the most to read the news, I would love to see Le Monde bring La Matinale to this device. In the meantime, I had fun imagining what it would look like. The idea is to capitalize on the iPad's large canva to offer a more visual and modern, magazine-like experience.
